Article Processing Charge

TINOMBALA: Journal of Language Education and Social Sciences is committed to providing broad and equitable access to scholarly research. The journal operates under a Gold Open Access model, meaning that all published articles are made freely and immediately available online without subscription or access fees.

To support equitable participation in scholarly publishing, TINOMBALA currently does not charge authors any fees for manuscript submission, peer review, or publication.

1. Current Publication Fee Policy

TINOMBALA currently operates under a no-fee publication model:

  • Article Processing Charge (APC): USD 0 / IDR 0
  • Peer-Review Fee: USD 0 / IDR 0
  • Copyediting and Typesetting Fee: USD 0 / IDR 0
  • Online Publication Fee: USD 0 / IDR 0

Authors are not required to make any payment at any stage of the standard submission, peer-review, revision, acceptance, or online publication process.

The absence of publication charges does not affect the editorial or peer-review process. Manuscripts are evaluated solely on the basis of their scholarly quality, originality, methodological rigor, ethical compliance, and relevance to the journal's aims and scope.

2. Open Access Policy

TINOMBALA provides immediate and unrestricted online access to all published articles. Readers may access, read, download, and use published research in accordance with the journal's applicable open-access and licensing terms.

The journal does not require readers or institutions to pay subscription fees to access published articles.

3. Funding and Publication Support

The costs associated with journal management and publication—including editorial administration, peer review, copyediting, typesetting, website maintenance, and online hosting—are currently supported by [Name of Institution/Publisher].

The journal's funding arrangements do not influence editorial decisions, peer-review outcomes, or the selection of manuscripts for publication.

The journal will transparently disclose any changes to its funding arrangements or publication-fee policy.

4. Optional Printed Copies

TINOMBALA is primarily an online open-access journal. If printed copies of a particular issue or article are made available upon request, authors or readers may be required to cover the actual costs of printing, handling, and delivery.

Any such charge is unrelated to the editorial or publication decision and does not constitute an Article Processing Charge.

5. Future Changes to Publication Fees

TINOMBALA currently intends to maintain its no-fee publication model. If the journal introduces submission fees, APCs, or other mandatory publication charges in the future, the revised fee structure will be clearly announced on the journal's official website before taking effect.

Any change in publication fees will be communicated transparently, and manuscripts already submitted before the effective date of a new fee policy will be processed according to the applicable policy at the time of submission.

6. No Guarantee of Acceptance

Payment is never a condition for acceptance or publication. Likewise, the absence of publication charges does not imply a reduced level of editorial or peer-review scrutiny.

All manuscripts are subject to the same editorial screening, ethical requirements, and peer-review standards regardless of the authors' institutional affiliation, geographical location, or financial circumstances.
